“There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42 (NLT) The heart of this ministry is to inspire a love for God’s Word and encourage the discipline of daily Bible reading and SOAP journaling. These are a few of our SOAP notes from today’s reading. We encourage you to read and journal on your own first, then join us in conversation about what God revealed to YOU today. Click HERE to go directly to the daily reading if you wish.

The Consequences of Unbelief | Joni Tyner

S~ And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do an miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them.  And he was amazed at their unbelief. Mark 6:5-6 (NLT)

O~ Jesus did several miracles in Mark 5 including casting out demons, healing a woman that was bleeding for 12 years, and bringing a man’s daughter back to life.  It says in Mark 6, that the local people of Nazareth disregarded Jesus and were offended by Him.  These people, probably some of Jesus’s oldest friends and relatives,  missed out on miracles and the greatest blessing of salvation because on their unbelief.

A/P~ Dear Lord, I pray that your Holy Spirit relentlessly pursues my heart to seek You above all things.  Please replace my unbelief and doubt with a quiet confidence that You .Are. God.  I really believe that You have crazy beautiful blessings for me, but I’ve got to give up my own agenda and trust You for all things.  I love You.

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at prayer@DiscoverOneThing.com
