My Allotment | Kim Chipman
S~ But Moses gave no allotment of land to the tribe of Levi, for the Lord, the God of Israel, had promised that he himself would be their allotment. Joshua 13:33 (NLT)
O~ Joshua is leading the Israelites in taking over the Promised Land. Moses relayed instructions for where each tribe should settle.
A~ What a precious promise from You to the Levites – You promised to be their allotment. I believe this precious promise is for me, too! You are my allotment. You are truly the only thing I need to fill the emptiness in my soul. All the possessions in the world can’t come close to the satisfaction of an intimate relationship with You.
P~ Thank You for ALWAYS being my allotment, my portion…my soul satisfying, life giving portion. As long as I have You I need for nothing. I love You!
An Unimaginable, Indescribable Experience | Joni Tyner
S~ “No eye has seen, No ear has heard, No mind has imagined, What God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)
O~ What a beautiful, beautiful scripture of what we have to look forward to. I love this. Nothing I have seen can compare. I think of the most amazing landscapes in creation—majestic mountains, cascading waterfalls, endless oceans, spectacular sunsets—all of this pales in comparison to what God has planned for us. Same with the beautiful sounds we hear. There NOTHING in our most vivid imagination that can comprehend this experience. There are no words. What an incredible, UNENDING joy this will be. (it will go on forever, this isn’t a moment or day…God isn’t confined by time, it’s “to infinity and beyond!!” )
Second observation. “for those who love Him.” This is a privilege for His children, this is for people who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Not everyone gets to experience the hope in this scripture, only those who love Him.
A~ Don’t miss this!!!! I love Jesus and He’s going to seriously WOW me forever in Heaven. ****Make sure you accept Him, love Him, seek Him, trust Him. ****This verse should completely motivate people to press forward with hope as we anticipate Heaven.
