S~ Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God and keep your vows to the Most High. Psalm 50:14-15 (NIV)
O~ Asaph is the writer of this Psalm. He was an officer in David’s court. A bit of research on Asaph says that he was frustrated by corrupt people and that many were emphasizing burnt sacrifices instead of a humble heart.
A/P~ Dear Lord, I love you and I don’t always understand why things happen on this earth. But, I want to trust You in ALL things and live a life of gratitude and thankfulness. Please help me to recognize when I am complaining or being negative and turn the situation into praise. I also ask that Your Holy Spirit would pursue me to be committed to disciplines that feed my faith.
