Tell Someone | Kimi Miller
S~ On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. Acts 14:27 (NIV)
O~ I love this idea that Paul and Barnabas were so excited to tell others what God was doing through them, that they gathered the church together to tell them.
A~ One of my favorite things to do when I get together with other believers is hear what God is doing in their lives. It reminds me of what Paul wrote in Romans 1:12, “that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.” When God does something for us or through us, we are supposed to tell others about it! In addition to giving God His due glory, it helps build the faith of those around us.
P~ Lord, I thank You for Your goodness. Thank You for everything You are doing in me and through me. Lord, give me opportunity to tell others about the amazing things You’ve done for me! Let me be so amazed by Your hand in all of it, that I can’t help but tell someone else about it.
