“There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42 (NLT) The heart of this ministry is to inspire a love for God’s Word and encourage the discipline of daily Bible reading and SOAP journaling. These are a few of our SOAP notes from today’s reading. We encourage you to read and journal on your own first, then join us in conversation about what God revealed to YOU today. You Restore My Soul | Kim Chipman

S~ The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. Psalm 23:1-3a (ESV)

O~ I love the 23rd Psalm. It is important for me to remember all the facets of Your character, including Shepherd. You lead, guide, restore. You are not a frenetic task master. There is work to do, but You provide rest as well.

A~ Right now I am at my happy place – the beach. I am sitting on our condo balcony watching the sunrise. The water, Your Word, this beauty – absolutely restores my soul. I feel like Your presence is magnified in my heart at the ocean, which is a big part of why I escape here regularly. So You can restore my soul.

P~ Thank You for being my Restorer. The world absolutely drains my soul. Thank You for creating the ocean and this beautiful sunrise. Thank You for this time I have for soul restoration. I love You!

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at prayer@DiscoverOneThing.com
