You Restore My Soul | Kim Chipman
S~ The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. Psalm 23:1-3a (ESV)
O~ I love the 23rd Psalm. It is important for me to remember all the facets of Your character, including Shepherd. You lead, guide, restore. You are not a frenetic task master. There is work to do, but You provide rest as well.
A~ Right now I am at my happy place – the beach. I am sitting on our condo balcony watching the sunrise. The water, Your Word, this beauty – absolutely restores my soul. I feel like Your presence is magnified in my heart at the ocean, which is a big part of why I escape here regularly. So You can restore my soul.
P~ Thank You for being my Restorer. The world absolutely drains my soul. Thank You for creating the ocean and this beautiful sunrise. Thank You for this time I have for soul restoration. I love You!
