O~ It’s easy for me to skip over the details of the Old Testament. But, everything in it is done so with purpose. Take for example, the census and this bizarre command about the arrangement of the tribal camps. What was the point of that?  God always has a reason for His commands. Look what happens when you draw it out on paper, you begin to see this image from God’s perspective – a cross moving across the earth! (Draw it out for yourself! Isn’t God amazing?)

A~ I am choosing to believe that everything You ask of me is for a greater purpose – often times, one I can’t see from my perspective. I put my trust in You alone, for I believe there are things I can’t see – can’t even comprehend – that You are working out for the plan You’ve had all along.

P~ God, thank You for inviting me into Your plan. Thanks for working out the details, so that all I have to do is be obedient to You. I love You, Jesus.

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at

  1. whoa! It’s a little like only seeing a piece or two of the puzzle. I’m sure the guy marching in any of those camps couldn’t possibly have known they were contributing to part of a much BIGGER plan. Wouldn’t that just blow their mind that they contributing to a glimpse of the cross which reaches all the way out to 2019 and all of us? Thanks for that fresh, AMAZING insight.
