What I live on | guest post
S~ Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew 4:4 (NIV)
O~ Jesus is responding to the tempter after fasting 40 days and nights.
A~ I prayed for God to reveal things in my heart that weren’t pleasing to Him. He is so good to reveal some unrepentant sin in my life. He answered this prayer over a short course of three days. I love You Lord!
Now, as I repent from this sin and learn from it (how it started, why I kept in my sin, internal and external factors that contributed to this, and how to find freedom the next time this comes up). I need to start with Jesus’ Words. I do not live on bread alone, but on EVERY WORD that comes from the mouth of God.
P~ Abba, thank You for this revelation of my sin and how far it has kept me from You! I am sorry! Give me strength to turn away! I love You!
