“There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42 (NLT) The heart of this ministry is to inspire a love for God’s Word and encourage the discipline of daily Bible reading and SOAP journaling. These are a few of our SOAP notes from today’s reading. We encourage you to read and journal on your own first, then join us in conversation about what God revealed to YOU today. Click HERE to go directly to the daily reading if you wish.

My Whole Heart | Kim Chipman

S~ Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth. Mark 10:21-22 (NIV)

O~ This rich man wanted to know how to get into heaven. Jesus reviewed the 10 commandments, which he said he had kept. Then this was Jesus’ request: sell everything, give it to the poor, and follow Him.

A~ I know there are times You ask me to do things and my face falls. I feel it in my heart. You know what I need to do to keep my heart priority in order. To keep You first (instead of me). Sometimes I just don’t want to…like this rich man. I have lots of things I am willing to do, but some stuff I just don’t wanna.

This song just came on while I was journaling…

P~ This is the prayer of my heart right now. Lord I give You my heart, I give You my soul, I live for You alone. Every breath that I take, every moment I’m awake, Lord have Your way in me. I love You! Amen

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at
