“There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42 (NLT) The heart of this ministry is to inspire a love for God’s Word and encourage the discipline of daily Bible reading and SOAP journaling. These are a few of our SOAP notes from today’s reading. We encourage you to read and journal on your own first, then join us in conversation about what God revealed to YOU today. Click HERE to go directly to the daily reading if you wish.

S~ Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. Psalm 143:10 (NIV)

O~ A prayer within a psalm that’s written as a prayer.

A/P~ Abba, I always tell my kids that they need to be coachable, teachable.  That they need to listen to what their teachers and coaches say and to follow it.  It’s the same with me, isn’t it?  I need to be coachable and teachable, have a heart that’s pliable to Your Truth?

S~ Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. Psalm 143:10 (NLT)

O/A/P~ Teach me. Lead me. All by Your Spirit. This is my prayer – my vow of dependence on You. May my heart remain in Your care – obedient to Your will, Your Word, and Your love. Teach me how to love like You, Jesus. Lead me by Your Spirit.

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at prayer@DiscoverOneThing.com
