S~ Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22

O~ Commit your way to the Lordtrust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him Psalm 37:5-7a

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.  1 Peter 5:7

There are SO many verses throughout the Bible telling me to trust You…cast my cares on You…do not worry…You will sustain…You are my rock…

A~ As I sit here today I’m on the beach under an umbrella, with my toes in the sand…my happy place. I feel so close to You when I’m here. The rhythmic crashing of the waves…so powerful, yet You make them stop right where they should. I hear laughter and children playing, their squeals of delight are so joyful. Here, for this morsel of time, I truly do not have a care in the world.

But, in a few days, I will go back to reality. I love my joy bubble on the beach, but I can’t LIVE in it ALL the time. I come here to get filled and refreshed.

And to remember. To pack away nuggets in my heart that I will need later. Remember to trust You…hand my worries and stresses to You when they come along. This is time for me to be still before You for a week, but I need to choose to be still before You regularly. You will sustain me.

P~ Lord, thank You for this time of rejuvenation and rest. Help me to hear Your voice during this time. Help me to hide Your Word in my heart for when the trial comes (because I know it WILL come!). I love You!
