S~ Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)

O~ This last part of the chapter is a warning to believers about how we live. We can be saved, but still grieve You by how we choose to live our lives. You want us to live in unity and live out love.

A~ I just finished reading Bob Goff’s book Everybody Always. Bob is obviously a very intelligent man, yet he conveys messages through stories in a unique and impactful way. Similar to his first book Love Does, it is a call to action. A call to genuinely live out our faith. A call to be kind and compassionate. A call to forgive others just as Christ in God forgave me. And not just the people in my life for whom this is convenient, but especially for those who are annoying, frustrating, difficult and weird. Marginalize NO ONE.

So how am I doing? Am I choosing this in my life with my difficult people? A few people come to mind right away and quite honestly I’d have to say there’s significant room for improvement.

Hmph.

P~ Lord, I NEED YOU. I can’t do this apart from You. There’s no way. You are my perfect example, but my flesh is weak. But…He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. Together we can do this. Help me to be strong and do better so my difficult people will see how much You love them. I love You!
