Rely on God’s Wisdom | Deanna George

S~ How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creations. Psalm 104:24 (NIV)

O~ IN WISDOM, God made his creations. It’s not on a whim or a reaction.

A~ Today, this stood out like a neon sign: In Wisdom. He doesn’t create by reacting. He creates by using his wisdom, creativity, knowledge, and design. I am one of his creations. Lately, I have been creating my own atmosphere through reactions to words said, or not said, loved one’s actions or attitudes. My job is to create an environment where everyone in my home can thrive. I need to stop reacting and intentionally use wisdom that God has given me to create the home environment that brings out the best in each other. I need to be intentional.

P~ Lord Jesus, HELP! I need to get out of the habit of reacting and not using your wisdom to better the situation. I’m sorry that I can be so fast to react instead of taking a moment to think before I react. Please help me to stop this cycle. I want to create the home environment that you have called me to where my marriage can thrive, where my boys can grow spiritually, mentally, and physically. Help me to be the woman you created me to be. Tape my mouth shut if that is what is needed. Pinch me if that is what it takes to get my attention. Or use my loved ones to speak the truth when it needs to be said. Thank you for your help!
