You are Sovereign | Kim Chipman

S~ He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power. Daniel 8:25 (NIV)

O~ Daniel is hard for me to understand, but today this is what I see in Ch 7 and Ch 8. In both of these visions given to Daniel there are rulers that rise up, come against God’s people for a time, cause destruction for awhile, then are destroyed.

You predicted through Daniel (however many thousands of years ago) that these things will happen. In Ch 8 when Gabriel is telling Daniel what his vision means he said it “concerns the distant future”. That could mean now, could mean later, could have already happened, I don’t know, but in the end the evil rulers ARE destroyed. You ARE Sovereign. Bad people will rule, bad things will happen – even to Your people – but You are in control.

A~ As I look around the events of our time this brings me great hope and comfort.

P~ Thank You Lord for who You are! You are sovereign over all. You are in control. You’ve got this…and You’ve got me. Thank You for who You are. Thank You for Your Word so I can learn about Your character. I love You!

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at
