S~ So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

O~ The nation of Israel, God’s chosen people, has been wandering the desert,  but God has never left them. He protected His people.

A~ Our nation is in turmoil, but God does not desert His people. We can trust in His power to sustain and help us.

P~ Lord, I don’t know how to process the madness that is happening in our country and world right now. It feels like evil is winning, but I KNOW that You have overcome the world and beaten the evil one. I am grateful that I can rely on You through everything. Your word says that You are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I will not fear. You are with me. Lord I pray that those who feel lost will hear You calling them. Thank you for the peace that You offer. Thank you for music that reminds our soul that You are in control. Amen

Everyone Needs God | Deanna George

S~ Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭28-31‬ (NIV)

O~ Everyone needs God – the weary, the weak, the young. Everyone has issues that we have to work through and endure, but what a promise that he will never grow weary or tired. He understands and gets us. We do not have to do it alone. It doesn’t matter what my age is or how little or big my battle is. He knows that I can get tired, weak, and discouraged, and tells me that he is here and capable today, tomorrow, and forever.

A~ The knowledge that I am not alone brings an excitement that puts a skip in my step. Today as I read this, a sweet friend came to mind. She is battling multiple things in her life, and all I keep thinking is God understands her battles. He understands. He gets it. He will remain strong when she feels like she can’t. This is just not for her. It for me. It’s for you. It’s for everyone. Cling onto the flicker of hope and let it consume you. Let God’s strength become your strength for the minute, the hour, and build into the day, week, month, and year.

P~ Lord Jesus, please take over my heart, mind, and soul. Be my strength! Be my source of peace. Be my source of joy even when I don’t feel joyful. Please consume me with your presence. I do grow tired and weary. I do allow my mind to go down paths that discourage me. Please keep my mind focused on your truths. Please keep bringing scriptures like this to the forefront of my mind, so that I may claim them for my life. Thank you for not getting tired. Thank you for not giving up on me because it is so easy for me to get side tracked from your truth. Thank you for understanding what I can’t even begin to understand. Thank you for hope. Thank you for strength! Thank you for knowing my limits and my shortcomings. Thank you for not expecting me to be perfect!
