S~ Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions. 1 John 3:18 (NIV)
O~ Be more than lip service.
A~ If I say I am going to pray – THEN PRAY!
If I say I am can help with a meal – THEN COOK!
If I say I am available to help with cleaning – THEN MAKE TIME TO GO CLEAN!
Follow my words with actions, even when I am busy, tired, or behind on my tasks. Be true to my word.
P~ Lord Jesus, please help me be true to my word. If I say I am going to do something, help me to follow through. Sometimes I need an attitude adjustment, but if it doesn’t come then please help me to have the strength to complete the task that I said I would do. I want to keep my word and honor you. I want to be your hands and feet. Thank you for the nudge to say what I mean and to be conscience of my words and not them hollow sentiments.
