Where Is My Heart | Deanna George

S~ Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, Ephesians 6:7 (NIV)

O~ Why do I serve? Where is my heart while I serve?

A~ Is it time to touch base with God and see if I’m serving where he wants me to serve? There are times when my heart is not where it should be, but is that because I’m tired? Or because I’m just serving because it’s the “right” thing to do? Where is my heart? Am I serving God or man?

P~ Lord Jesus, thank you for reminding me that my purpose for serving is to serve you. I don’t know if you will tell me I am serving in the place you want me to or not, but I want to make sure that I do serve where you need and want me. I want to serve you wholeheartedly through serving others (family, church, school, my clients, anyone/everyone you want me to serve). I do not want to feel like it’s a duty to live and love like you. Please guide me to the place and people you would like me to serve. Please prepare my heart, so that I may serve you in the way you deserve.

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at prayer@DiscoverOneThing.com
