My Part of the Whole | Luisa Penaherrera

S~ The one who plants and the one who waters work as a team with the same purpose. Yet they will be rewarded individually, according to their own hard work. 1 Corinthians 3:8 (NLT)

O~ I like how this verse shows the separate roles, but also says the two work together for the same purpose. No competing, no comparing.

A~ No competing, no comparing, I need to do my best with what God gives me.

P~  Dear Father, what you give me is specifically designed for me. Help me to turn from the lies that tell me: I’m not good enough, this doesn’t make a difference, why can’t I be more like so and so.

That’s not how you see me and those words zap the life out of me.

You speak life: what I do will make a difference because if you called me to do it, it’s for a reason and part of your plan. I’m good enough- when you gave your life for me that proved to me that you think I’m worth it (maybe ‘good enough’ aren’t the right words, because I sin, but I’m definitely worth dying for!) And you wouldn’t ask me to be more like someone else, because you made me this way and the only someone else you want me to be more like is Jesus.

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at prayer@DiscoverOneThing.com
