No One is Greater than Another | Deanna George
S~ For God does not show favoritism. Romans 2:11 (NIV)
O~ God looks at us as individuals. He doesn’t compare us to each other, but to his truth. We are judged by holding our actions, behaviors, and thoughts up to his truth.
A~ As a parent, I am accused of favoring one child over the other. It usually come when one child is trying to deflect their guilt so they don’t have to own their own behavior. How many times have I tried to do this with God? I find myself comparing me to others and how I feel they are so much better. God just wants me to think about his truth and find a way to face my actions or inactions while living these truths out. He wants me to be true to him.
P~ Lord Jesus, thank you for not comparing me to others. Thank you for looking at me, for pointing out areas where I am not living out your truth, and reigning me in when I try to deflect my guilt on everything but the truth. Please help me to understand your truth, so that I may find favor in your eyes.
