No Favorites in the Lord | Kelley Deases

S~ Then Peter began to speak: ‘I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.’  Acts 10:34-35 (NIV)

O~ God had been at work in the hearts of both Cornelius and Peter prior to orchestrating their meeting one another.  Through these two willing servants of the Lord, one Gentile and one Jew, God began a work of reconciliation and unity of faith in Jesus Christ.

A~ To the same degree I am willing to open my eyes and ears to what God is communicating, and I am further willing to subvert my schedule and priorities to line up with His, to that degree I can be used to accomplish His purposes, in big and in small things alike.

P~ Father, You can use me just as You used Peter just as You can use the homeless man in the food line at the mission just as You can use the wealthy businessman.  You do not have favorites but love each one of us deeply.  And You can use whomever offers You a heart open to Your leading.

Our team would love the privilege of praying for you! Please share how we can lift you in prayer at prayer@DiscoverOneThing.com
