Wait On You | Luisa Penaherrera

S~ The following message came from Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah.  Jeremiah 32:1 (NLT)

O~ The message of the king of Babylon destroying the land and taking the people captive went way back to Jehoiakim and here it is ten years into Zedekiah’s reign.  Zedekiah succeeded Jehoiachin who succeeded Jehoiakim as king.

A~  This encourages me to continue the race.  To stop giving things a time frame, unless you give me a time frame.  My part is to trust that you will bring it to pass and expectantly wait for you.

P~  Dear Father thank you that my life is in your hands and you do have a plan, plans for good.  Help me to keep on working with what you give me to do and wait for your plan to unfold.

Too hard? | Nikki Metzger

S~ I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world.  Is anything too hard for me?  Jeremiah 32:37 (NLT)

O/A ~ God asked Jeremiah that, “Is anything too hard for Me?”

No, nothing is too hard for God.

Reading about the Babylonians attacking Israel…it was God’s plan falling into place, as horrible as it was.  God had it under control.  Today, God’s plan is falling into place.  Nothing in my life is too hard for Him.

P ~ Thank You Lord for being bigger than anything that is happening around me and in me.

Discernment | Jill Terry

S~ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 (NAS)

O~ Not every teacher, writer or preacher who claims to know and teach Biblical truth do. The issue is so many of them are so close to the truth and those without discernment believe what these false teachers say, because they claim to be preaching God’s Word. Far too many Christians, do not read their Bibles for themselves; therefore setting themselves up to fall for the subtle lies and deceit coming from false teachers. There are so many false teachers claiming to speak the truth of the Word through books or from the pulpit and far too many Christians read the books and listen to the sermons without discerning whether or not the teaching is correct.

A~ Discernment eluded me for far too long, but slowly I began to learn and discern for myself. I would read a book by a Christian author or hear a sermon from a popular preacher and something would just feel wrong. So, I took that nudge from the Holy Spirit and started to do my own research. I would learn that so many of those authors and preachers were wrong, close but still wrong. There have been a number of times when I would ignore nudge of the Holy Spirit and not do my research because I so wanted that author or preacher to be right, because I liked their message or style. But, as soon as I delved deeper into what was bothering me, I would discover the errors in the material being presented. I am so very grateful now to receive these nudges from the Holy Spirit to aid in my discernment abilities.

P~ Thank you Lord for discernment and showing me the truth so many times. Amen
